Send emails with specific attachment stored on onedrive, on specific date listed in MS list

Hi Community,

Please see an example below:

Need a flow to automate sending an email with attachments on 3/31 for Alex, 4/3 for Ben, and 4/17 for Calvin.

The attachments are already stored previously on OneDrive. For each name, I would like the flow to go to the corresponding folder and grab all the files as attachments:

Is it possible? Your instructions are much appreciated!

    Hi @eddiecheng ,

You can create a flow runs daily which check if processdate equals today.

Here is my test for your reference.

    Hi @v-mengmli-msft ,

    Thank you for your reply.

I encountered this error, which I believe is about "time" within MS list:

"The expression "To_x0020_HR_x002d_3 eq 2024-03-21" is not valid. Creating query failed."

Here are some facts that I am not sure if they caused the error above:

    1. Actual column name is not "processdate", but "To_x0020_HR_x002d_3" (based on the name shown in the URL in sharepoint)

    2. I am based in UTC+8

    3. Column "To_x0020_HR_x002d_3" is a calculated column (= date from another column minus 1)

    Hi @eddiecheng ,

Unfortunately, Filter Query doesn't support Calculate Column, so you'll need to use Filter Array to do the filtering.

Then, the value of "Get items" should be replaced by body of "Filter array". For the "Title" dynamic content, you can use item()?['Title'] to replace it.

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

@v-mengmli-msft Thank you very much for your response but could you please provide the flow in diagram again? I am new to this app and not familiar with Filter Array functions... Thanks!
