I have developed an application for a construction site follow-up.
I am asked to include photos.
Each part of the construction site must have a series of photos
So I created a ShP list in which I was going to add the photos as 'attachments' via a smartphone app. I add the ID of the list of the construction site in a field, which allows me to link the 2 lists.
The PJs are stored well, the 'father' ID is also included, everything is fine
the problem is the visualisttion of the Lp's in a gallery, sometimes it works, other times not ...
In a gallery, I filter on the father ID and it gives me a record that contains the PJ field
In another gallery I ask for the view of the PJs
Items = GPj.Selected.'Attachments
And there sometimes it works, sometimes not!!!
I thought of another solution which would be to store these images in libraries and to display the contents of these in galleries
by linking them to the concerned library, but here I am confronted to make this link dynamically, and that it changes for each item ... and that I don't know how to do ;-(
Another solution would be to create a line by photo in the list T_Pj, but the number of line could become important, and we know the problems of delegation ...
Can someone tell me why my first solution is not reliable, and if the alternative is the best option.
