Searching a Data Table with a multi-Select combo box against a Sharepoint Multi-Select field

Hi All,

I'm working on the following form which has a data table filtered by 4 combo boxes and a text box.

paulbruen1603_1-1691591812438.png

Each of the combo boxes, except the one highlighted are multi-select, but lookup against single-select fields in Sharepoint. Whereas the highlighted one is a multi-select field in Sharepoint. The code I currently have to filter the data table looks like this.

Can anyone advise how to change the 2 lines in pink at the bottom, so that it will take a multi-select combo and search a multi-select Sharepoint field please?

Filter(
  Sort(colIssues,ID,SortOrder.Descending),
  (
    Len(txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text) = 0 ||
    txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in ID ||
    txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in Title ||
    txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in IssueName ||
    txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in Concat(Current_Assignee,DisplayName,",") ||
    txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in RaiserName.DisplayName
  ) &&
  (
    Len(cbo_imtracker_search_status.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
    Status in cbo_imtracker_search_status.SelectedItems
  ) &&
  (
    Len(cbo_imtracker_search_overallimpact.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
    OverallImpact in cbo_imtracker_search_overallimpact.SelectedItems
  ) &&

  (
    Len(cbo_imtracker_search_busdatadomain.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
    BusDataDomain in cbo_imtracker_search_busdatadomain.SelectedItems
  ) &&
  (
    Len(cbo_imtracker_search_critdataitem.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
    CriticalDataItem in cbo_imtracker_search_critdataitem.SelectedItems
  )

)

Many thanks, Paul

    Hi @paulbruen1603 ,

    Assuming all SharePoint fields are Choice fields, try this

    With(
     {
     _Data:
     Filter(
     Sort(
     colIssues,
     ID,
     SortOrder.Descending
     ),
     (
     Len(txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text) = 0 ||
     txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in ID ||
     txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in Title ||
     txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in IssueName ||
     txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in Concat(Current_Assignee,DisplayName,",") ||
     txt_imtracker_searchtext.Text in RaiserName.DisplayName
     ) &&
     (
     Len(cbo_imtracker_search_status.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
     Status.Value in cbo_imtracker_search_status.SelectedItems
     ) &&
     (
     Len(cbo_imtracker_search_overallimpact.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
     OverallImpact.Value in cbo_imtracker_search_overallimpact.SelectedItems
     ) &&

     (
     Len(cbo_imtracker_search_busdatadomain.Selected.Value) = 0 ||
     BusDataDomain.Value in cbo_imtracker_search_busdatadomain.SelectedItems
     )
     )
     },
     If(
     Len(cbo_imtracker_search_critdataitem.Selected.Value) = 0,
     _Data,
     Ungroup(
     ForAll(
     cbo_imtracker_search_critdataitem.SelectedItems As _Sel,
     Filter(
     _Data,
     _Sel.Value in CriticalDataItem.Value
     )
     ),
     "Value"
     )
     )
    )

    Hi @WarrenBelz - thanks for your reply.
    Can't see why, but it's not quite working. None of the filters (excluding the CriticalDataItem) now work and also,  when searching for the CriticalDataItem, it seems to be including records that match multiple criteria twice. Here's an example showing ID 73 returned twice:

    Here's an example with just the Status filtered:

    Would you mind taking another look please?
    To confirm, each of the fields are CHOICE fields in Sharepoint, but only the CriticalDataItem is a multi-choice field.

    Many thanks again - much appreciated.

    Paul

    Hi @paulbruen1603 ,

    A bit baffling as I simply split the code you provided doing all but the multi-choice (which shoud still work if it did before) and then did the multi-choice filtering the result of this. The entire filter however is not Delegable, so maybe there are some restrictions there.
