I am a few days into PowerApps and have imported my first table via excel. I formatted the fields, in the table having not created the app yet, including several "Choice" columns before clicking Upload. I wanted to several choice columns so later on when someone wants to add a row to the table (or app once created) they have a drop down (choice). I now want to include new columns with formulas, specifically concatenate. I learned the formula will only work with text fields and figured out how to change number columns into text columns so all good there. I am now trying to figure out how to use a choice column in my formula. Is that possible? If not, is there a formula to change a choice column to a text column? The choice column is titled Year and the options are 2022, 2023, 2024. I could always reupload the file and create a new table but I've done a lot of legwork in this table so I'd hate to start over. Once figured out I want to create an app with a form that can be filled out and the record be added to the table, and, I want to be able to search a record in the table (I guess via the app) to update it.
