I have a list of records on the one side of relationship:
I want to be able to pass a variable for a given record on this list and use it as a filter another list on another page (on the many side of the relationship):
This would mean a user doesn’t have to manually navigate to a different page and manually add a filter, so across the whole application it would significantly improve usability.
Unfortunately the Test button in the first screenshot only allows me to add a Workflow, which doesn't seem to offer this functionality.
I could add a button to the page in the first screen, but:
- Power Pages won’t know which Component Category to use as a filter
- Even if it did, there doesn’t seem to be any way of passing the variable
Any thoughts on how best to handle this quite common requirement?
