FetchXML returning 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 to User

Hi folks, I thought you could help talk me through something. I have a FetchXML page that's pulling in values from a table. Instead of returning the ID string to the User, it's returning 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 for records they own, and not displaying records they do not own (this second behavior is desired). For the admin, you get the correct id value for all records when viewing the fetchXML page, so it's calling the right attribute, it's just returning zeroes for the user. Is this some kind of permissions issue for only that column? The user can see the values in other columns without issue in the fetchXML page, and whenever something is blocked it returns null not zeroes...

Hi @Anonymous

Please add table permissions for contact entity and assign the appropriate web role. It can be read only permission, I believe this is your use case.

Once you have done that. Hit save and close.

In portal studio

Sync config and browse the website then ctrl+f5 twice to see your changes.

It turns out I was using "id" as the alias name and that was what was causing the issues. Thanks for the help!
