Latest Version of power autoamte desktop not working to download files from Sharepoint

Hello all,

 

I'm using the latest version of power automate desktop (2.29.00258.23041) and when I try to dowload a file from the Sharepoint action an error pops because there is no binary variable to extract and convert to file.

The actions are

 

  • Get file content using path.
  • Convert binary data to file.

Can anyone guide me to have a solution to this error please?

Or there is another way to do the file download?

    Hi,

    this is a known bug in this version and will be fixed in the next version. Because it‘s a preview action it can happen 😉

    Workaround: install the previous version (ask the Microsoft support for installation file).
