Hey guys, we would like to ask you - we have active flow  - When a file is created (properties only) and we would like to add hyperlink to  Teams approval for the file inserted. However when we add - Link to the item or Folder path its just and pdf not active sharepoint link.

Could you please share with me what's the best way here? Is there a way how to add sharepoint link to the file when item is added?

    Hi @Daniela191992,

Please add a Get file properties action to get the item to link.

Here is a simple demo for your reference:

    Thank you, correct.

However we need not temporary but permanent link file, which we can edit and save to same place on SharePoint.

    HI @Daniela191992,

Confused, what do you mean by permanent link?

Yes, this item to link is from the dynamic content, which does not mean it is changing all the time. It means that this Item to links comes from the content returned from the Get file properties, which is based on the trigger.

This item to link will not change unless you delete it.

Get it, however when I open the link based on your suggestion, I cannot use it as basic SharePoint online file (make a comment, track changes etc). I can see the file as pdf only without any option.

Re: How to change "link to the item" to Sharepoint link

    Hi @Daniela191992,

You want a link to navigate you to the file on the Documents library page so that you could edit other metadata value?

If so, I am afraid that there is no OOTB way to add a comment to a file on documents, we suppors it for List items not for file on ducuments library.

What's more, the comments for file on Documents blibrary is always marked as check in or check out, not sure if it is what you want to view.

    UPDATE:

I want to explain to you that we could create a link to a file to naviaget you to the version history page, however you could only add a comment to this file when you check in.

Here is the URL you need to configure within the Create an approval:

    https://SiteURL/_layouts/15/Versions.aspx?list=GUID&ID=ID

Note that the GUID could be captured as below:

    vqiaqimsft_0-1689068085306.png

After that, we could achieve as below:
