Lookup different column

Hi All, 

 

I searched the community but could not find the question to what is probably a real easy question.  

 

We work with parts which have a name and unique 10 digit ID. Parts have relations to multiple other entities. 

In a form it would be great if we could lookup the parts based on the ID not the part name which is the default. 


How can I change that? 

 

Even better would be if you could lookup based on both but that might not be possible?

    Use the following formula on default of a textbox:
    LookUp(YourTable,ID=Textbox1.Text,Name)

     

    or

    LookUp(YourTable,ID=Value(Textbox1.Text),Name)

    Hi @eka24 ,

     

    Thankyou but I'm not quite sure how to do that. Where can I enter formula's? 

    I'm now looking for it in the form view as you can see in the appendix, is that correct?
