save all selected items in a multi select to a variable

so i have a multi select and I want to save all the selected values from a multi select and after the form is reset use that saved variable as a default.

What type of multi-select control are you using? A combobox? Checkboxes? Something else?

Also, where are you getting your option values from? Is this a Choices column? A LookUp Column? A Text Column?

The answer I give will depend on what input type.

Could you please share more about your scenario? More details will be appreciated.
To solve the issue that you mentioned, please provide more details as below.
Do you have multi selections from a Combo Box?
Do you want to display the selections in your Combo Box after reset?
I assume that there is a Combo Box in your form. Considering there are multiple selections within, I think that creating a collection saving selected items from Combo Box can achieve your needs.
I have a test on my side, please take a try as below.
ComboBox.Items:
Choices([@SPlist].SPcolumn)
ComboBox.OnChange:
ClearCollect(Collection,DataCardValue3.SelectedItems)
ComboBox.DefaultSelectedItems:
Collection
ResetButton.OnSelect:
ResetForm(Form1)
