Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

We are building a model-driven app and are using a custom page (canvas app) within it. Our testing team has been complaining that the custom page is running slow, but when we play it in the power apps studio it is not. The app is collecting and patching data in large amounts, but it is not noticeable in the studio. The page was added to the model driven site navigation as a custom page, so it runs within the model driven UI. Does anyone know why performance would suffer when it is run in the model driven app vs. in the power apps studio?
