Unable to Access Specific SharePoint Site through Power Apps Add Data Connection

I am attempting to make a connection from Power Apps to a SharePoint site for which I am a member owner.

If I use the link provided to me in the search bar, I am redirected to the site with complete access.

When I try to add the site as an Add Data connection in Power Apps the site does not appear as a choice, and Power Apps won't accept the site link as a 'custom' choice.

I can, however, see and access a 'Communications' site in the same environment.

What am I missing?

The SharePoint I need access to. I have permission and am an owner on the site -

Assuming Project is a subsite, the custom site you should enter is:
https://***************.sharepoint.com/sites/DropInstallFieldApp/Project/

I would highly recommend having a site (site collection) created for you for this instead of a subsite. Everything is designed around the site collection level and support for subsites as you are finding out can be problematic. Unless you have a large established site to use then I would stop now and have that done before going further to save yourself more headaches along the way.

I made the change.

No folder(s) were created.

Here is the language for the link to the site where I need the folder create and file stored.
https://*************.sharepoint.com/sites/DropInstallFieldApp/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx

Here is the flow, with the site address as you suggested and above.

Here are the options I have in the flow. These are from the 'Communication' site, evey though the address is not for the 'Communcation' site.
