Hi there,

So I am a newbie to all of this and have hit a bit of a wall.. I've been researching the best ways to use o365 to automate basic tasks and this is where I've gotten to;

Form Created (on a group which took a bit of investigation to know how to do using Id).

Power Automate used to trigger an email when someone responds to form.

Issues...

1. It doesn't seem to want to let me send the form externally?

2. I cant sent on behalf of - I can get permission to send from shared inbox but surely not best practice to get permission to send from anyone (could be up to 50 people). Any ideas for workaround?

3. I am not sure how to send attachments. I attached one in a test but just sends as a link rather than an attachment. Not ideal as using to report issues to an external partner and need to send images to support claim.

Hoping some ideas to help. Maybe a better way entirely to do what I need..

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    I'm not sure you are in the correct place since this is the area for the Power Automate Desktop. And as I read from your post, you are creating Power Automate Cloud flow, Am I correct?

    However, I can give my opinions on your issues:

    1. First issue, you can refer to this link to have more details about sharing form externally: Microsoft Forms - Share to collaborate with external users not working - Microsoft Tech Community

    2. Second issue, you can't send email on behalf of users with Power Automate, and that is not a good solution since you have to get permission from all of the user. When sending email from Power Automate, you should use a Shared Inbox or you should create another dedicated email address for sending out information automatically(ex: noreply@....com or flow@....com )

    3. When sending email from Power Automate cloud flows, by using Send Email action, you have an option for adding attachments. But you have to use other actions before it to get the file from SharePoint or OneDrive then you can use these files to attach it to the Sending Email action

    Thanks and hope it can help you.

    Mike
