Hi! I have created a form in Powerapps that is connected to a Sharepoint list. I have 5 controls. Date Picker, Category (Parent dropdown), Task (Cascading child dropdown) , Sum (Text Input) and Created by (Office365Users default user connection).

When I submit a new form, the date and sum are updated but on the 2 dropdowns the value is always returned as "false" and the user is wrong, What am I doing wrong and where should I start to look?

    @EM1 - could you confirm what you have in the Items properties of the two dropdowns? I am assuming both are set up as Single Choice fields in your List?

    @Amik In Category Items I have Sort('KATEGORI Lista';Rubrik) and in the Task I have Filter('DROPDOWN ANSVARFÖRDELNING';Typ.Value=Dropdown1.Selected.Title)

    "Kategori Lista" is the Sharepoint list and Rubrik is the column name and "Dropdown Ansvarsfördelning" is another list with Tasks in Title and a lookup column for "Typ".
    Rubrik = single line
    Title= Single line
    Typ= Lookup

    @EM1 are you sure Rubbrik is a Single Line Text field? The title of your post refers to them as Choices.

    @Amik Yes it is a single line. Should it be a choice column in Sharepoint? I'm so new at this, sorry and thanks for your patience. With choice columns I mean it's a dropdown in Powerapps

    @EM1 ,

    As I understand it so far.

    You have two SharePoint Lists (List1 and List2).

    You have a Form connected to List 1. This List contains a Single Line Text field (Rubrik).

    In List 2, you have a field called Title, and you have a LookUp field to List1 (Typ).

    In your Form, you have a "parent" dropdown control which displays the Rubrik field in List 1.

    In your Form, you also have another "child" Dropdown control which displays each item from the Title column from List 2, but filtered depending on the selected item in the Parent dropdown.

    Is that correct?
