duplication problem with calendar events (groups to groups)

I created the following flow between office365 groups but I am running into a problem.  The event gets duplicated multiple times once it has been triggered.  Do you have any suggestions on that?

1) Trigger: When there is a new event (Connector: Office365 groups outlook) (I select the centralized calendar for the trigger)
2) Then "Create a new event" and I select a different group calendar that I want the event copied to.

Re: duplication problem with calendar events (groups to groups)

I figured out why the events are repeating now I need a solution Here is what I am trying to do:

I have a main central calendar created that we use to push events out to all sub-groups with in our organization.  I want to in turn be able to trigger events unique to each sub-group back to the main central calendar (which is what was creating the cycle of duplication).  Can someone help me create a condition so I avoid the duplication problem and enables me to allow the sub-group calendars trigger new events to the main central calendars?

    Thank you!

    Hi @swiftm .

Could you please paste some screenshots of your flow so far in order to check it and give you a solution.

I have included two screen shots.

I have a main central calendar created that we use to push events out to all sub-groups with in our organization (image that #1 is a screen shot of the flow I have created for the main central department.   Main Organization Calendar.PNG

I want to in turn be able to trigger events unique to each sub-group back to the main central calendar (which is what was creating the cycle of duplication). Screenshot #2.

    sub group calendar.PNG

When I turn off the sub-group flow the main flow works.  When I have both flows turned on-->endless duplication cycle.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @swiftm

    You're creating a circular reference.

The first flow creates a new event from Main on Sub1.

The second flow creates a new event from Sub1 back to Main.

This is why you keep looping between both flows.

I don't have a solution for you as I don't fully understand what you're trying to do. But, I hope this helps a bit.

Yes.  I do understand the circular part.  I am hoping I can figure out a condition so I can push events from main to sub (without it coming back) and also from sub to main (without it coming back).

I found this link that I thought might help me with the condition but it did not work.  https://scheduledisplay.com/microsoft-flow/

Anyhow, thanks for looking at it and if you have any other ideas I welcome them.
