Power Apps Portal: Web Links Not Displaying Properly

Hello Community,

Has anyone experienced the strange behaviour where sometimes the web links we have set up under the web link set would get messed up somehow and all the web links would all of a sudden show up on the portal header menu?

For example, I have updated the desired web link set in Portal Management, where I have group different web links having "parent/child" menu links to help organize the menu and how users could navigate. I have saved/synced the changes, cleared the portal cache, and everything would be working as expected. But after a few days, all my web link set changes would be gone, and when I browse the portal I would see all these web links all over the place on the portal header menu, including web links that I have previously deactivated.

This is really frustrating, as I would have to try restoring them back to the way before and it's very tedious working with the web link set and the corresponding menu.

Has anyone experienced this and know what might be happening?

Any insights would be appreciated!

Thank you!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

FYI: @OliverRodrigues  has also written a very good article about this. Please have a look

    http://oliverrodrigues365.com/2020/06/20/power-apps-portals-navigation-menu-showing-every-web-page/

It is usually due to the web link set not refreshed. I faced this problem too. The easiest way to fix this issue is

    1. Portal Settings > Web Links set > Select Default > Press deactivate

In Portal studio  > do the sync configuration and browse website.

It should definitely remove the old links and refresh the state.

    Hope it helps.
