Wait for a text value in excel worksheet cell to trigger action

Hi All,

 

How do you create a loop flow that actually wait for a text value in specific worksheet cell to exit loop and run the next flow?

I did a conditional loop below and it did not work.

I'm actually working with two excel sheet file, the other one is actually a source data file which is currently used by my PAD(Flow-1) and the 2nd excel file is used by my PAD(Flow-2) to bridge data i need and trigger action in my PAD(Flow-2). I did this separate excel sheet since I cannot work with 2 PAD(Flows) using the same Excel Instance.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

    The condition seems to be incorrect.

     

    At first write 1 condition

    Then do a Ctrl C on that line of code and paste it into Notepad

    This should give you something like this

    LOOP WHILE (DecisionToExecute) = ($'''PassDecision''')

     

    Then within Notepad itself add the 2nd condition 

    LOOP WHILE (DecisionToExecute) = ($'''PassDecision''') OR (DecisionToExecute) = ($'''UpDecision''')

     

    Once you have finished adding all conditions add that line back to PAD editor, which will give you something like this.

    Note, I have shared an example condition above. In your case it would be different.

    Big thanks... It took a lot for me to do trial and error just finally got the right condition statement
