Help with Date and Time discrepancy between app and sharepoint list

I have a Sign In app that passes sign in date and time also sign out. But the create time and the sign in time are different most of the time.

Occasionally the Sign Out time is also different from the Last Modified date and time

I pass the date and time to a date and time field in a SharePoint list.

It maybe I am not using the correct method of recording date and time.

    Greetings,

    I have seen this issue before there however, I need a little more information.

    • Could you provide a screenshot or a snippet of the code you are using.
    • What function are you using to time? Datepicker or Today()?
    • Are there user accessing with the application in different time zones?

    @jbrines

    Thank you for the screenshot. Could you also provide a snippet of the code you are using upload the record into SharePoint? What is the trigger to pass in the DateTime values and are you using Patch, FormSubmit, or something else? Depending on how the values are formatted they could affect how they get converted to UTC in SharePoint.

    Hello @jbrines , what type is the column where you save the date and time of the app?
    Another question, is the date and time entered automatically?

    Hi @DanyV507 ,

    It is a Date and Time Column

    @jbrines
    Excellent, what we need to be able to identify how you are updating it in the update property of the date card in the form.

    Hi @DanyV507 ,

    When the user clicks on Sign In it displays the current date and time (I have this hidden) so when they click on submit it uses that date and time on the screen.

    @jbrines

    You could try using setting a variable when the user clicks sign in something like.

    Sign in Button:

    Set(varCurrentDateTime,Now());

    Then set the default value for the time entry datacard = varCurrentDateTime.

    Hi @proximacentur

    The following "Sign In Date and Time_DataCard1" is linked to the Date and Time Field column in the SharePoint list, how would I add what you are saying to that as the Time has Hour and Minutes.
