MS Form attachment to be sent through email issue

Hello everyone,

I have created a power automate workflow that does the following:

Users submit a request through MS form with attachment (this triggers the workflow)
Add submitted data to Share Point List
Send email to respective team with the MS Form attached file

Everything is working as expected but I can't open the attached file both in the email & in the List where I get the below error

We can't open this file - Something went wrong

Error Msg

May be the extension of the file is missing can you check the same

Also just to verify try to create file in sharepoint library and check if it is accessible

Thanks for your reply ... The file extension is showing .pdf and so does the icon showing in the attachment

When I edit one of the records in the List in share point and uploaded the same file directly it works but the file coming from the form through power automate workflow doesn't work

in the content feild are you selecting the fiel content or whole response

Hi @nankw83

Not sure- just try to place the add attachment in the loop where the get file content action is there

And see whether that helps ?

Hi

@Anil_g , as you can see in my initial post, under the Get File Content I am selecting "ID"

@Nived_Nambiar , it is not allowing me to do it as the add attachment requires Apply to Each

Hi @nankw83

To move the add attachment to above apply to each- try the following

1. Remove the name dynamic content from add attachment

2. move that action to above apply to each

3. then add the same name dynamic content

Thank you for your help ... I have actually managed to get it to work by changing the "Get File Content" with "Get File Content Using Path"
