Patch Data in SharePoint DropDown

Hello,

 

In my SP List i have column Read with a choice yes and no. The Default is no, after open the detail form i use this Formula

 

Patch(
 Messages;
 {ID: gallery1.Selected.ID};
 {Read: "Yes"}
)

The Patch function is not work, have anyone an idea for me.

    Can you please try to update your expression as:
    Patch(
        Messages;
        LookUp(Messages, ID= gallery1.Selected.ID);
        {Read: true}
    )
