I have two collections with exactly the same fields and I want to join them in one collection, how can I do that?
For example:
CollectionA:
ID
Value
1
Value01
2
Value02
3
Value03
4
Value04
5
Value05
CollectionB:
6
Value06
7
Value07
8
Value08
9
Value09
10
Value10
ResultCollection:
Try:
ForAll(CollectionB, Collect(CollectionA, { ID: ThisRecord.ID Value: ThisRecord.Value } );
If the source tables are schematically identical, you would only need to Collect each into a combined collection.
Clear(ResultCollection); Collect( ResultCollection, CollectionA ); Collect( ResultCollection, CollectionB );
Friendly FYI that "join" typically means there is a common field and you are looking to create a new table which has elements of the source tables "joined" together. In your scenario, you're simply appending rows to the collection. You will want to clear it before performing the collection, to ensure you're starting fresh.
Great, thanks for the solution, I was trying with different instructions and it was really simple.
