Can someone please tell me how you link fields and buttons and date pickers especially to a sharepoint list column. I want the user to be able to hit the tick in the top right corner and the app send the users selection to the sharepoint list. Please I know this is so basic but I can't find any in for anywhere!

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to submit data into your SP list when you click the "Submit" button within your app?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think you could consider generate an app based on your SP list. Then the fields in your SP list would be bind to corresponding controls within the Edit form automatically.

More details about generating an app based on a SP list, please check the following article:

In addition, please also check and see if the following videos would help in your scenario:

    Hi!

Yes that is exactly what I am to achieve.

Correct, so I have linked in the sharepoint list to my app, its just the "binding" controls to the SP list is where I am stuck at.
I will review the links and see how I go.

    Thanks!

    Hi @v-xida-msft,

Those start me on the right path but the soluion I found in the link below. Which is essentially changing a text input to a date picker but it keeps the link to the SP list.

    Thanks for your help.
