Where are you trying to separate the attachments? You could add user name and date to the attachment file name.
Yes, but my proponent don't want to change the filename of the attachment that they attached. Is there other way separate it with renaming the file?

Yes, SharePoint will be the storage for the Attachments.
I would go to the Sharepoint List or Document Library and Show/Hide the Created and CreatedBy Columns. Then you can sort in the list or use the fields in your app.
