The subflow DirecrDebitReportDate below calculates the date I need to the variable FormattedDateTime2.

The Action Populate Tex tfield in window populates the Report parameters date field

However the date is not FormatteddateTime2

Where have I gone wrong?

    Hi @garthh

Could it be that your desktop application takes whatever format you give it and transform it as it wish?

I would suggest trying to copy date in the format you want it to be than past from clipboard to the field and see how app handles it

I agree with momlo, I bet the application is expecting it to be inputted a specific way and it doesn't like the way the "Populate" action is doing it. You may play with a variety of different options....click and send keys, copy/paste, emulate typing option enabled/disabled, etc....

    momlo, thank you

The field won't accept a copy and pasted date.

I presume the date has to be typed in so need to see how to do that

@garthh Use split action to get dd, MM, YYYY to get it into variables. Once you have it, use sendkeys action to pass the variables in respective fields.
Or use sendkeys tab then use populate to pass respective variables in respective fields.

    Hope it helps!!

    Cheers,
    Ankesh
