First off I am really, really, really new to power automate, but I am really excited about the possibilities and I am trying to learn it and understand its capabilities.
For one of my first projects, I want to create an excel sheet based on 100’s of PDF’s (all formatted differently) that are certificates from classes I have attended.
What I am thinking I would like to do is upload the file, have the file renamed based on the title of the course and saved in a file structure. Then I would like it to populate an excel sheet with the date completed, name of the course, and a hyperlink to the certificate based on where it is saved.
I have looked around at different templets but not found anything that meets what I want to accomplish completely. I also looked on this message board and found one person that was trying to pull data from a PDF using AI builder however none of these PDF’s that I have are all formatted the same.
I am not sure what tool to use to extract the data from the pdf.
Any guidance, examples, or input would be appreciated.
