Licensing SQL Connector with implicitly shared connection

Hello,

users of my app can use it without a premium licence, although the SQL connector is a premium feature.

I expected that the users need a additional license (not only E3) to use the app.

Even if it works, is this multiplexing if we do not license the users properly?

Would be great to get help on this.

Best regards

Caddy

If you are using SQL which is a premium connector. Users accessing the app will require either Power App Per User Plan or Power Apps Per Plan Licence.

thanks for the quick reply @phipps0218.

You mean require a Power apps license to be able to use the app or to be compliant. Because actually users are able to use it without a licence (no trial licence is active either) and I tought this is because of the shared connection?

To interact with SQL from the PowerApp, the user would require a premium Power Apps Licence.
