    Hi @htet-htet

    Where/how are you triggering the call to Set?

    I assume that DataCardValue11_1 and DataCardValue18_1 are controls on a form. If this is the case and you're calling Set at a time when the form hasn't completely loaded, that would be one explanation as to why the Lookup returns blank.

    @timlyes, this is form control.
    I initialize this Set(varApprover,
    LookUp('Approval Matrix', Department = DataCardValue11_1.Selected.Value &&
    Section = DataCardValue18_1.Selected.Value,'Approvers Text')) App Onstart.
    I want to use varApporver in powerappsendnotificationv2 function

     PowerAppsNotificationV2.SendPushNotificationV2(
                "Power Apps",
                "{appIdentifier:'d122b2da-3333-4df1-a0a7-13103def3ad0',displayName:'HR App', type:'CanvasApp'}",
                ["varApprover"],
                "Testing Hello World",
                true,
                ParseJSON("{}")
            ); however it return (the recipient varapprover email is not recognized email address or object identifier in the directory'
    can you help me please

    Hi @htet-htet

    It's not possible to do that way because the variable value will be calculated one time only when the app loads.

    If you want to encapsulate the LookUp logic in a way that you can reference, I'd suggest you use a named formula instead.

    In the App node of the designer, you would select Formulas and enter the following:

    nfApprover = LookUp('Approval Matrix', Department = DataCardValue11_1.Selected.Value &&
    Section = DataCardValue18_1.Selected.Value,'Approvers Text');

    You can then refer to nfApprover like so:

    PowerAppsNotificationV2.SendPushNotificationV2(
     "Power Apps",
     "{appIdentifier:'d122b2da-3333-4df1-a0a7-13103def3ad0',displayName:'HR App', type:'CanvasApp'}",
     nfApprover,
     "Testing Hello World",
     true,
     ParseJSON("{}")
     );
