Hi,
I work for a very large company with a large intranet built off SharePoint and we were looking to leverage copilot studio to create a copilot for SharePoint to help users find things more easily and allow them to be able to ask questions, essentially an intranet support chatbot. My question is with a large intranet, is it better to make separate copilots per department (i.e an HR copilot, an IT copilot, etc.) or just have one catch all copilot and feed it all of our major communication sites as data sources? My fear is if we create a monster catch all copilot is that the generative AI might be less accurate because it has too many data sources? I also have thought about a hybrid approach. For example having a dedicated copilot for the major intranet hot spots like our HR and IT site, but then outside the big two or three sites, then just have a catch all copilot being displayed on all other sites.
Additionally, I found this documentation
here that states that CoPilot can only use up to four SharePoint data sources; however, in Copilot Studio I can add more than four SP data sources to one of my copilots?
Just would like to hear some thoughts on what would be the best option in a situation like this.
Thank you.
