hi
Is there any way to auto populate staff joined / start date in PowerApps? Thank you
@bbsin Do you need when creating a record to auto populate date pickers if so you need to use this DefaultDate
If(IsBlank(Parent.Default),Today(),Parent.Default)
The above checks if the date picker of the form is blank then it will populate Today() otherwise it will stay on whatever start date on your data source.
Hi @bbsin ,
I have one question that, are you tring yo get the start date from Sharepoint user profile or you have a list for this.
If you have list then it is simple. You can put this formula on 'DefaultDate' property of Datepicker control -
** Assuming that you are using Form control here, that's why I used Parent.Default
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks 😀
@Ramole , thanks for the reply.It's not today () that I am looking for, I need to pick the join date that the staff joined the company not sure if this is able to pick out of O365. Thanks
