Best Practices while working with different related SharePoint lists

What is the best practice for implementation if my app got multiple forms (more than 5) each connecting to different SharePoint lists (more than 5) as data sources and they are related.
  1. Collect all forms data into different collections and submit all forms together at the final step? The con I found here is if the session is ended anywhere before final step, all data in collection is gone.
  2. Submit each form while the user is traversing to different screens? The problem I seen here is traversing back and forth to screens which have forms already submitted. Once submitted and traversed back to submitted form, I am unable to retain form data in submitted screen. As experts please advise if you are involved in similar requirement and let me know better solution for this.

    Hi @RameshMukka ,

    Your note

Once submitted and traversed back to submitted form, I am unable to retain form data in submitted screen.

has me a little confused. You can certainly submit a form, and leave it in Edit mode - what is your code for saving the forms?

I have the form default's mode as New and onselect of button I have SubmitForm(form1). Does changing default mode to Edit will solve my issue? All the times I am getting "No item to display" when traversed back to submitted form screen, when i make the default mode to Edit. When in New default mode I am getting a New form altogether. Please advise!
