I used the PDF function to create a PDF from a screen. Is there a way to now download that PDF to my computer?
Hi,
There are two options:
First: You can use SendEmailV2 function of Office365Outlook to send the pdf as an attachment to you. Please refer to Work with the PDF function (experimental) - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn link for more details on office connector.
Second: You can call power automate from canvas app. Pass the file name and content as input parameters. Inside power automate, you can create a file in SharePoint site and send back the file path to the canvas app as output parameter. In the below screenshot, power automate is called on the onSelect event:
For saving file in SharePoint list, please refer to the link: Work with the PDF function (experimental) - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

In Canvas app, you can use htmlText control to show the link to the user to download on the local machine, refer to the sample code:
Pls let me know if you need more details.
Please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.
Thanks
If that is the answer, then that is the answer. Not what I was hoping for though. I prefer to not use a flow and having to send it as an email then download from the email is additional steps. Shame it can't create and then download the PDF from the app.
