I would like to setup a way for team members to generate a statement of work based off a selection of products (with specific details about each product). When the product(s) is selected, the “tool” uses the product details that are stored “someplace,” possibly other MS Word files in OneDrive (or a database, etc.), to populate the appropriate areas of the statement of work template in Word.
I was thinking I could use some type of power automate flow to do this. I would like it to be able to be shared with other O365 users in my organization and be simple to use.
Additional details:
- I have a SOW template created with four different sections that will have product specific information. There are other details in the SOW template that will be the same for each product.
- The SOW template also has a date for for the installation date the team member can manually enter or select from a calendar
- Ideally the product information coming into the template would be formatted correctly (i.e. bullets, styles)
Any ideas how to best accomplish this? This is one of the tasks in our organization that is very important and putting some automation around it will help with the adoption by the team. Thanks for your assistance.
