So Here is my problem. I am creating a DataBase at work for creating an activity. The Activity includes coming up with ideas on how to fix the process they are examining. In my form I want to be able to add/remove ideas.

My thought was to use a multi line column for this but I don't know how to get power apps to read it?

For example I want to have a button for add idea. The add idea would add to the gallery and the gallery would show how many ideas the activity generated. I will keep working on it and show my work as I go. I'd even like to go as far as to have an image in the list?

Hello @KRider ,

I've had similar issues when using multi-line column type in Power Apps. On my side I went back to the basic and created a second list to attach as many lines as possible to the primary record.

I'm still not sure how to use and fully exploit multi-line columns...

Yeah, I made a second list and sort based on the ID number compared to the original list. It's a bit messy but it works.

My solution: A way to add the items to the list for ideas. includes basic name, description and image. When I patch I use the "serial" in a variable that is set when I load or create the activity.

So to keep the lists lighter I create a list per "zone" in the plant. Activities will generate ideas to the zone list. The zone list is read to show how many ideas each Activity has generated.
