Softomotive WinAutomation License File (upon end of support)

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a better place to post my question so I leave it here as Softomotive WinAutomation is now a part of Power Automate.

 

Hi!

As stated here -- https://aka.ms/Softomotive-Instructions,

  • Last day of WinAutomation support is December 31, 2021
  • After that date, any current Softomotive customer, regardless of license type, will still be able to use their software but with no support, upgrades, and updates
  • All licensees with a v6 or above will receive a license file (.lic file format) from the Microsoft Power Automate team which will be used to access and use WinAutomation

Softomotive team sent an email with a link to the license file (https://assets.winautomation.com/licenses/...), but this link is not accessible.

 

Has anyone been able to obtain and use this license file for WinAutomation?

    Answering my own question -- license file can be received from https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/support

    I have posgted and erched out to MS without any real help, MS has avoided me, it seems.

     

    I have license from email. I tried a test to install and says wrong machine name. Perpetual to one machine and how do I know my working copy is even proper machine, will become useless.

     

    Why not just put tbac WA site tath allowed us to deavativate from one machine and actiave on another.

     

    Please MS come here give us an answer. I have WA6 professionla and have many installation and cannot afford $150 per month per user to run unattended.

    Has anyone been able to keep their perpetual license? Mine says wrong machine ID. I doubt intent is to run on only one machine ever.
