Content of gallery not shown after update to new PowerApps-Version

Hi,

I have created an app that show data of a table a a gantt-bar in a gallery. After updating to a new PowerApps version, the data is not shown anymore.

I have tested the following release versions with these results:

3.24054.9doesn't work
3.24052.29doesn't work
3.24051.29doesn't work
3.24045.24works
3.24044.28

works

I also implemented a label with a CountRow code to show the number of displayed data and not-displayed data. The not-displayed number equals the amount of data rows in the table, so it still seems to have a connection to the table.

Does anybody else experienced something similar and/or can help me figure out how to fix this problem?

Thank you!

    I am having the same issue. Saving any changes to my app moves the app to Build 3.24051.29, and breaks one of my galleries. If I restore back to the last working version, which uses Build 3.24045.24, I am fine. I have not tried to change the build from within the app.

    I was also facing this issue. However, I was using StartsWith function in my gallery items property. With the latest version of PowerApps release, seems like we need to specifically mention the condition to handle the blank search.

    For example: if you were using the formula like

    Filter(SPList, StartsWith(Title,txtInput.Text))

    You now need to update the formula to:

    Filter(SPList, StartsWith(Title,txtInput.Text) || IsBlank(txtInput.Text))

    Thank you, Mayure5h, that fixed the issue.

    Hi Mayure5h,

    thank you for your reply! Unfortunately it didn't work for me (or I implemented it incorrectly).

    I have this code (anonymized) in the "items"-function of my gallery:

    SortByColumns(
    Filter(
    Search(
    Tbl_Data;
    Tb_Search.Value;
    Field1;
    Field2;
    Field3
    );
    Cmb_Filt1.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Field2 = Cmb_Filt1.Selected.Value;
    Cmb_Filt2.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Field3 = Cmb_Filt2.Selected.Value;
    Cmb_Filt3.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Cmb_Filt3.Selected.Value in Field4;
    Max(
    ThisRecord.DateField1;
    ThisRecord.DateField2;
    ThisRecord.DateField3;
    ThisRecord.DateField4;
    ThisRecord.DateField5;
    ThisRecord.DateField6;
    ThisRecord.DateField7
    ) >= Date(Cmb_Year.Selected.Year; 1; 1);
    Min(
    ThisRecord.DateField1;
    ThisRecord.DateField2;
    ThisRecord.DateField3;
    ThisRecord.DateField4;
    ThisRecord.DateField5;
    ThisRecord.DateField6;
    ThisRecord.DateField7
    ) <= DateAdd(Date(Cmb_Year.Selected.Year; 1; 1) - 1; Cmb_YearAmount.Selected.Value; TimeUnit.Months)
    );
    Cmb_SortColumn.Selected.Field;
    If(varSort; SortOrder.Ascending; SortOrder.Descending)
    )

    According to your reply I updated my code to this:

    SortByColumns(
    Filter(
    Search(
    Tbl_Data;
    Tb_Search.Value;
    Field1;
    Field2;
    Field3
    );
    IsBlank(Tb_Search.Value) Or
    (Cmb_Filt1.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Field2 = Cmb_Filt1.Selected.Value);

    IsBlank(Tb_Search.Value) Or
    (Cmb_Filt2.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Field3 = Cmb_Filt2.Selected.Value);

    IsBlank(Tb_Search.Value) Or
    (Cmb_Filt3.Selected.Value = Blank() Or Cmb_Filt3.Selected.Value in Field4);

    IsBlank(Tb_Search.Value) Or
    Max(
    ThisRecord.DateField1;
    ThisRecord.DateField2;
    ThisRecord.DateField3;
    ThisRecord.DateField4;
    ThisRecord.DateField5;
    ThisRecord.DateField6;
    ThisRecord.DateField7
    ) >= Date(Cmb_Scale_Year.Selected.Year; 1; 1);

    IsBlank(Tb_Search.Value) Or
    Min(
    ThisRecord.DateField8;
    ThisRecord.DateField9;
    ThisRecord.DateField10;
    ThisRecord.DateField11;
    ThisRecord.DateField12;
    ThisRecord.DateField13;
    ThisRecord.DateField14
    ) <= DateAdd(Date(Cmb_Scale_Year.Selected.Year; 1; 1) - 1; Cmb_Scale_Amount.Selected.Value; TimeUnit.Months)
    );
    Cmb_Sort_Field.Selected.Field;
    If(varSort; SortOrder.Ascending; SortOrder.Descending)
    )

    Unfortunately, when I released this version of the app, it still didn't show any items.
    While I'm working on the app, the preview in the app-editor shows items, the error just occurs in the released app.
