Setting deafult "Fields" ComboBox

Hi All

I'm getting annoyed with ComboBox

Not sure how many times I have set my fields (Campos/Datos) for Combobox but it always switches back to whatever it considers should be the values.

This is what I select / want :

1) If you clear all of the browser cache and cookies, close the browser, open it, log in again, and go back into Power Apps Studio does this issue still happen after that?

2) If you go to make.powerapps.com -> Connections and delete the connection to SQL Server and/or whichever other connections the Canvas App is using, and then also do #1 right after that, and then try again, does this issue still happen after that?

Please check about if any of the above help.

Hi

Thanks for your advice.
I did what you suggested but it didn't really make a big change.
What I ended up doing was:

I created a view in SQL with just the three columns related to the Combobox.
but still can't filter by two fields 😞

Hi @KatheBlaschke ,

This may be a guess, but you are sorting by the second column (and you are correct that the behaviour is unexpected) - try Sort() instead of SortByColumns()

Sort( '[dbo].[VIEW_MASCOTAS_COMPLETO]’; NOMBRE_MASCOTA )

Thank you, sorry for not having replied before. I've just seen it after the holidays 🙂

I did what you suggested but I got a delegation warning and the dropdown stopped working.

I had to go back to Sortbycolumns.
