Unattended PAD fails to focus on Browser input box

Hello

We have PAD which is called from cloud flow in unattended mode. This has been working great for a year

Recently (since 1st September), Unattended PAD is launching browser as expected however, its not typing in text in the text input box.

We have screenshot action in place and that how we figured. (we dont see nay popup or any other program blocking this)

we changed mode to attended and logged in to the machine to see what's going on. However, unfortunately it works perfectly fine in attended mode. (Though its not our goal)

I have tried reinstalling PAD on host machine and no luck. No matter what, Cursor doesnt focus the input text box

Since it works ok in attended mode, we are guessing it has nothing to do with PAD actions itself and may be something related to recent updates

has anyone faced this issue?

Can you please provide more context as to what actions you use to populate the text box?

@Agnius  Sure. It is straightforward actually. Moment page is loaded in browser, default focus is in this textbox (its login scree).  So, I just use Send Keys action.

But just to be sure, I have also used Javascript Funciton action and set focus explicitly on this textbox

Attended mode works with and without JavaScript action. (Since focus is by default on the login textbox)

Have you tried using Populate text field in web page instead of sending keys? Or, alternatively, try modifying Send keys to send it to a specific window (the browser) instead of the foreground window. I would also recommend trying to use Focus text field in web page instead of the JavaScript script.

Also, make sure you're not sending the text as hardware keys (there's a toggle for that in Send keys), as that will generally not work on VMs.
