Automated Flow - To trigger when only 1 certain column is updated

Hi,

How can I create a flow that only triggers when a column is updated to Yes?

I am using it as a submit button so the person can go in and out of the item but it will only notify completion when they click submit - Not every time the item is modified which is what is currently happening.

I think I should be using 'get changes for an item or file (properties only)' but the flow I have created keeps failing.

FYI - my column is a choice column not a Boolean Yes/No which is why I have typed yes and not True in my condition.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

The idea is get a true value so the trigger will be exec: Power Automate Trigger Conditions made EASY - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

Hi @ChristianAbata, thank you for your help with this! Sorry, I should have mentioned that I already have this set: '@equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/Submittomanager_x003f_/value'],'Yes')' I have put Yes as my column is a choice column not a Boolean Yes/No. Is that right?

hi @Atennantsp yes that will work, also you can add a compose value after the trigger to see if the response of your expression us true or false. Please remember you will need always true as result
