Lookups from another SharePoint list not visible in PowerApps

Hi there - I have a list with data on one SharePoint (Sub) site which looks up data from another SharePoint site (the main page).

 

I am trying to create new forms on SharePoint, using PowerApps - but the lookup colums are simply not showing up in the original datasource.  I have been looking around on Google and discovering that this is a wellknown issue - but still I have not been able to find a solution. Can somebody help me??

    To be more precize - the issue is that i am using side columns to make a lookup to a different site. It seems PowerApps does not support site colums. Is this still the case?
