I am looking to create a search bar on an app which will basically function as "Ctrl + F" for the whole app. I have tabs which will take users to specific screens containing knowledge articles but would like them to be able search for keywords in a search bar on the home page to more easily find solutions.
Is this something which is possible through power apps?

You can use Search() on a single table to find keyword(s) in one or more fields in the same table. Note, Search() is not delegable to many datasources, so if you have a lot of rows in a table this may not work well. It is delegable for text fields in Dataverse, if that's what you are using.
The next wrinkle: you'll need a way to tell the app what screen you navigate to depending on the screen of the chosen content. Likely you will need another column in your datasource with a screen descriptor, followed by a Switch() statement that uses that descriptor to decide which screen to Navigate() to. Make sense?
