Action 'Update_file_properties' failed to update multiple approvers

Hello -

I modified a everyone must approve flow to update status of approval to pending and update Approver column.

It looks like the emails are getting pulled and column updates to pending but when there are two approvers - the flow does not work.

Flow set up

I also tried updating assigned to claims with the split function but got the same error.

split(variables('ApproversEmailVariable'),';')

Would someone be able to suggest how to fix this?

The approvers will vary based on who is available to review the document.

Thanks so much in advance.

    Hi @Bunly11 ,

    The Assigned to Claims seems to be a mutli-select person column. In that case you will need to use a JSON array in the following format in order to update a person column:

    One person:

    [
     {
     "Claims": "i:0#.f|membership|DiegoS@onmicrosoft.com"
     }
    ]

    Multiple:

    [
     {
     "Claims": "i:0#.f|membership|DiegoS@onmicrosoft.com"
     },
     {
     "Claims": "i:0#.f|membership|PradeepG@onmicrosoft.com"
     }
    ]

    You can create the above JSON array using the Select action as shown below:

    The item() property needs to be entered as an expression:

    The value for the Claims key starts with:

    i:0#.f|membership|

    Then use the output of the Select action as the value for the Assigned to claims column in Update item action:

    Hope this helps.
