Rich text vs Html text

hello, i have an app where the user can add a description which should be a nicely formatted field with links, bolds and so on. It should be saved on a sharepoint list.

 

  • which field is suggested? rich text field or html?
  • Which type of column should i use inside SP?

right now this description field inside the Edit Form is a regular text input. i tried to hide that field and add instead a rich/html field, but it won't save data. how to fix?

    Hi @Antonioclk ,

     

    You could create multiple line of text column in sharepoint list and use rich text editor control in canvas.

    If you use form to submit data, you could focus on update property of datacard.
