Hi,

I've some issues with  my form, this was working fine, all the code is (was) correct and the form has gone to production.

I came back to it to make a small change and noticed errors related to wherever .Email is referred to in my form I have a red line with the following message- Name isn't valid. This identifier isn't recognized.
Its affecting only parts of my form, the first section which User1 completes anywhere I have rerenced .email works fine, but when the form gets to the latter stages, i cannot use.Email even though its a valid option in my list of options

    Furthermore, if I change this:

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(Form1.LastSubmit.YourName.Email,

    to DisplayName the red lines in my code go away, of course this means the user does not receive an email:

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(Form1.LastSubmit.YourName.DisplayName,

     But also in my Gallery on my Items property i am filtering, but again its not working whenever i try to use .Email on just that it :

    Filter(ListName,
    'Created By'.Email = vUser ||
    LManager.Email = vUser ||
    HolderName.Value = vUser ||
    HeadName.Email = vUser ||
    TMName.Email = vUser
    )

    I cant figure this out and have spent a lot of time any help will be apricated.

    Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    It more likes a Connection issue with SharePoint Connector and Office365 connector.

    Could you try to delete the SharePoint list and Office365 connector and re-add them?

    You may also need to re-type the expressions that had error message.

    Please have a try to see if the issue is fixed.

    Hope this helps.

    HI @v-siky-msft

    When you say delete the SharePoint list and office 365 connector, what do you mean, as I've spent weeks setting up this form, as it has a lot of code and customisation and as its in production, I would not be in a position to re-do all the work?

    I had already removed the office365 connector and added back in if that's what you meant, I  haven't removed the SharePoint connector as I thought this would mess up my form?

    Plus the fact the, things are working on the first part of the form lead me to believe the problem is elsewhere, i read other posts about rouge fields, but I get no errors and I've been through all the fields, field by field to see if anything appeared in the right of the pane, but no errors, it's driving me insane

    Also I've just attempted to re-write the first part of the code, and strangely I get this while typing, but if I start typing in the same code in the working screen, the same error does not appear, does this mean anything?Capture.PNG

    Hi also, I've just removed the SharePoint connection and removed the office365Outlook connection

    I then added the SharePoint connection back but when I choose Office 365  Outlook from the connectors  and rather than using a connection which shows, if i do the + Add a connection and click connect i get the following error:

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Delete and re-add the sharepoint list connection won't broke your codes. The name of the list will be the same as it was before it was deleted.

    The error you met are all from the complex columns, please have a try, and Rest assured, as long as you don't publish it, there will be no impact on the app in production.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    I haven't come cross such error.

    Could you please try to store your app to previous version from App-Details-Versions?

    If this issue still exists, please consider requesting Microsoft Support Ticket for further assistance.

    HI @v-siky-msft

    I've tried restoring to many previous versions, including the published version, which is working in production but as soon as I restore it as the current version, and open in studio I can see older changes in my form, so its obvious its an older version, but I still have the same issue. Where ever i reference .Email it doesn't work.

    To submit a MS ticket do I need to have admin access to the PowerApps portal?
