Moving Apps And Datasources

Dear Community,

While employed by a company a couple of years back, I created several Power Apps, the company has now split into 2 and the half with these Power Apps is transitioning to a new company.

My question, is there an easy way to migrate the apps and datasources (SP Lists) between the companies?

Thanks in advance.

Craig

Not sure what your mean regarding 'Easy way'.
With your current situation, I would say use standard and compliant plan rather than choose 'easy way'.

What's your challenge on tech perspective ?

Thanks for the response. By 'easy way' I was thinking that because people are developing for 3rd parties, there may be a way to export the whole environment (app and datasources).

    My initial thoughts are:
    - Export the SP list to an excel (but this may lose any JSON formatting)
    - Create a new SP list in the new company with the same name and import the excel file
    - Export Power App and import to the new company
    - Add the new datasource to the app and point the app to this

Will they need to go through every reference and relink the SP list columns or will changing the datasource automatically pick up the same column names?

    Thanks

Your thought is good start, I list some factors hope that help.
    1. The references must be checked,
    2. environment variables if any.
    3. columns name might differ, so this also has to be in your check list.
    4.  security model will be for sure changed, this has to re-create.
    5.  any flow... etc.
    6.  use test env if possible.
    7. check the original solution if any other dependencies left.
