Help creating a trigger based on time between two seperate actions

I currentley have two different flows that are tirggered based on emails coming into my inbox. The emails let me know that a customer has entered and left our line. What I want to do is whenever the customer enters our line, start a timer, then if 30 minutes has passed and the email letting me know the customer has left our line has not been received, execute a trigger.

I have the same question (0)

    @Anonymous - Hi there!

    So, rather than an email...what do you think about keeping a customer line log?  If, when a customer enters the line, you create a row (in SP, Excel, whatever) that maybe has their details and the enter-time, then you can probably set a "wait" condition to wait 30 minutes and look for an exit-time (which your second Flow would update).  If there isn't one, then it could trigger that "taking too-long" Flow.

    In theory, does that suit your needs?

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Based on your description of your requirements, I have created the following flow configuration for your reference. The steps and details can be seen in these screenshots:

    Step 1: When a new email that subjected "Customer enters our line" arrives trigger the flow, and set a delay 30 minutes, then get the emails in the inbox.Annotation 2019-06-12 150614.png

    Step 2: Filter the body of Get mails to get the email subjected "Customer has left our line", then create a condition to judge the length of Filter body

    -If length equal to 0, perform the next action.

    Since a flow cannot trigger another flow with an action of flow, you can proceed directly under the flow to perform the next action you need after the conditions are met.

    You can have a try with it. If there is any problem, please contact us.
