Set flow to copy column item from one list over to a secondary list only once, even if changes have been made. Avoiding dupliacte entries.

I have a list where if one column item is equal to "yes", then that specific column item copies over to another list. If someone goes back in and updates that column item in the original list, it still sends a duplicate updated copy over to the second list. I would like to set my flow so that once the item has copied over once, it won't be copied over again, even if a change has been made. We want to avoid duplicate entries. Is there a way to do this?

You'd likely want to add a conditional loop to only apply to each based upon a time-based expression against the last modified date. For instance: Apply if modified date/time is greater than or equal now (UtcNow). Check out Working with Dates and Times inside of your flows, Use expressions in conditions to check multiple values, and A Visual Explanation of Flow Logical Expressions.

    Hi @Mtorrell ,

First, I think you need add a column in list1 which value will never change.

So you can use this value in list2 to check whether the item has exist.

I have created two lists on my side for a test.

The value in 'Title' column will never change.

So I Initialize a variable to append all the 'Title' value from the list2 in an array.

Then use the array to check whether the item which you added or modified in list1 has exist in list2.
