DefaultSelectedItem going blank on a Combobox dependent on a TextLabel

So Sharepoint list form start with inserting a series of Article Numbers separated by a space, this then creates as many rows as items were inserted. In the example below I put 2, and 2 items were created. The separated articles are stored in their own DataCard and their own Label. I have then for each item a Description, which I can get them with the use of an Excel file, and a combobox that have their DefaultSelectedItems property set to:

LookUp(ExcelFile; ArticleNumberExcelColumn = NUMBER1Label.Text)

That automatically sets the correspondent Article with their Description. The Update property of each Description Datacard is set to

ComboBox1.Selected.ArticleNumberExcelColumn

Each Description row has its separate TextLabel that just replicates what was selected.

This is working perfectly, everything updates and the info is retained, at least in testing in PowerApps.

When trying in Sharepoint, is wonky. Sometimes Description goes blank, sometimes it takes long to load, sometimes it appears inmediately. But there doesn't appear to be a set pattern to this behaviour.
i don't mind if it takes a while to load, but I really don't want it going blank randomnly... Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Hi @WorkingRicardo ,

    Based on what you have posted, the DefaultSelectedItems should be

    {
     ArticleNumberExcelColumn:
     LookUp(
     ExcelFile;
     ArticleNumberExcelColumn = NUMBER1Label.Text
     ).ArticleNumberExcelColumn
    }

    but this is sort of "going in circles" for no good reason. Try

    {ArticleNumberExcelColumn: NUMBER1Label.Text}

    Hi @WorkingRicardo ,

    I am not sure how to respond to that, although Excel is a terrible data source and should be used as a "last resort" when SharePoint (or Dataverse if you want to pay the licensing fees) is not available. Things that should work simply do not and this may be another example.
