On the screenshot, the case was successfully created on CreateMdeCase. However, I received an error when I create an email with the case reference. I confirmed the case exists and guid is correct.
Hi @sjin :
The point is "to populate a look up field, we need to specify the plural name of the entity and then the record GUID."
For example:
The name of my cases entity is crba2_cases.
So I should use
crba2_caseses(1d98967e-fa56-eb11-a812-00224816b805)
instead of
crba2_cases(1d98967e-fa56-eb11-a812-00224816b805)
In addition,If you are not sure what its name is, you can create a'List records' action to check the returned children of the cases entity. For example:
Best Regards,
Bof
Thanks! @v-bofeng-msft
I ended up using this on Expression. outputs('CreateMdeCase')?['body/@odata.editLink']
For my case, the field name is incidents
On a side note, Regarding (Cases) makes me using cases(MY_CASE_ID) as I referenced a fieldname from the parenthesis for others. It'd be better if there's an instruction because the general rule that is being used on PowerAutomate is different for this case.
