Hi All,

So I am using the launch function to send and sms code below, which all works perfectly.

However I would like to improve the format of the message.

I would like to enter a new line (line break) after each &

any ideas how this can be achieved I have tried <br> with no luck

Launch("SMS:"& 07568318320,"body", "Call Sign: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Call Sign' &
& "Start Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Start Time'
& "End Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'End Time'

    Char(10) and Char(13) are useful in text stings to force carriage returns and line breaks. Just add with with &, or as part of a Concatenate function.

    Hi @AzJackson ,

    Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

    Do you want to add a new line break after these detail info in your body message?

    Regarding the needs that you mentioned, I agree with @GarethPrisk 's thought almost. The Char(10) or Char(13) function could achieve your needs. On your side, you need to modify your formula as below:

    Launch(
     "SMS:"& 07568318320,
     "body",
     "Call Sign: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Call Sign' & Char(10) &
     "Start Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Start Time' & Char(10) &
     "End Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'End Time'
    )

    or

    Launch(
     "SMS:"& 07568318320,
     "body",
     "Call Sign: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Call Sign' & Char(13) &
     "Start Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'Start Time' & Char(13) &
     "End Time: " & BrowseGallery.Selected.'End Time'
    )

    Please try above formula, check if the issue is solved.

    Best regards,

    they is great,

    however, does any one know how to send the message automatically,

    so i have the number and body populated in the native mobile application but it still is waiting for the user to click send,

    im using this as a solution to a SOS feature for lone workers

    Launch("SMS:"&"mobilenumber","body","help")  is there functionality to add a send option at the end of formula?  or in a free way  🙂
