Hello everyone,

I have two sharepoint lists.
The first sharepoint list contains the forklifts that we have for testing. Each forklift has its own ID, which was automatically generated by adding it to the sharepoint list.

In the second list, the checks for the respective forklifts are recorded. This means that the employee knows exactly what he has to do when he checks the forklifts weekly, monthly or annually.

I have made two views in Powerapps. On the left-hand side, you can see the assets. If you click on the button, it shows the respective maintenance steps on the right-hand side. The employee can then click on the work when he has completed it. Then the completed checks are recorded in tbl_checks including date and time.
I would like to display the corresponding completion date of the work in the APP for the respective forklift.
For example.
ID1 forklift last inspection made on 09.01.2024
ID2 Forklift last inspection on 20.01.2024 and so on.

You can use the LookUp function, follow these steps:

    • In Power Apps Studio, open your app and go to the assets view.
    • Add a label control under each forklift button, and name it as CompletionDate.
    • Set the Text property of the CompletionDate label to this formula:
    LookUp(Checks, ForkliftID = ThisItem.ID, DateCompleted)
    • This formula will look up the DateCompleted column from the Checks table, where the ForkliftID column matches the ID of the current forklift item. It will return the first record that matches the condition, which should be the latest completion date of the work for that forklift.
    • You can format the date value by using the Text function, such as:
    Text(LookUp(Checks, ForkliftID = ThisItem.ID, DateCompleted), "dd/mm/yyyy")
    • This formula will display the date value in the format of day/month/year. You can change the format to suit your preference.
    • Repeat the steps for each forklift button and label in the assets view.

    I hope this helps

    Hi Mandela,

    Unbenannt.JPG

Thank you very much for your support, but somehow I can't manage it.
Since I have two SharePoint lists, it doesn't work somehow.
I have the forklift list tbl_Anlagen and the exam list tbl_pruefungen.
somehow I can't connect the ID in tbl_Anlagen and in tbl_pruefungen.
